The Department of Anthropology at Indiana University Bloomington seeks to hire an archaeologist for a 1 year Visiting appointment for the 2020-2021 academic year. Specific rank (Visiting Assistant Professor/Visiting Lecturer) to be determined based on whether the PhD is in hand at time of appointment and subject to change with degree conferral.
We are particularly interested in a scholar with a methodological focus in faunal analysis, historical archaeology, and/or underwater archaeology, but the culture area and time period are open. Expertise in zoo archaeology preferred.
