We’ve had staff before with maritime archaeology backgrounds and found that skill set beneficial to the work we do with federal agencies and with the broad diversity of archaeological and cultural resources in California. In turn, while the positions for which we are hiring are not directly maritime in nature, we feel they can provide some valuable career and skill base expansion for archaeologists in the maritime track.
