Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following:
- Serves as the Partnerships and Innovation Directorate’s Development Team Manager. Ensures that DPAA’s strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the development team and integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for partner development, supporting cooperative agreements (CA), and regarding grants and CA-related legislation, statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures to develop policy documents, technical assistance papers, and memoranda.
- Identifies, cultivates, maintains, and manages relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure program success.
- Designs, researches, and executes complex, major developmental initiatives that are unique, difficult to define and require unconventional approaches.
- Provides strategic guidance and operational project management oversight for the Partnerships and Innovations (PI) Directorate/Agency projects to include historical research and analysis partnerships and will ensure PI activities comport with applicable DoD/DPAA regulations, policies, and goals.
