R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. (RCG&A) has an opening for a Nautical Archaeologist in our Frederick, Maryland office. This full-time, permanent position requires a master’s degree in maritime/nautical archaeology or closely related field.  Experience in geophysical/geotechnical data processing and analyses is required, as is skill in technical writing. Experience conducting or supporting remote sensing surveys is ideal. The candidate also should possess knowledge of geological sequences of the Atlantic Cost and OCS.

This full-time, salaried professional position carries a full benefits package (paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave beginning at start date; health, dental, and life insurance; and a liberal 401(k) plan). The starting salary for this position is $45,000 annually with an increase after 6 months of employment. This salary is highly competitive and commensurate with educational and professional experience.
