Museum Conservators perform critical work that involves the application of professional conservation techniques in an effort to maintain art objects. These individuals have a key responsibility to prepare museum collections and objects for storage, research, or exhibition. Museum Conservators also conduct research of art objects in an effort to preserve a record and history of various objects. These individuals are also responsible for supervising subordinates to include the assignment and review of work performed, and assisting them as it relates to job training and education.
