The School of History, Classics and Archaeology at Newcastle University is undergoing a period of expansion and is seeking to consolidate its strong performance in research and teaching by appointing five outstanding Lecturers/Senior Lecturers in History. We welcome applications from anywhere in the world from suitably qualified candidates who are committed to the highest calibre of research and teaching, and who have clear plans for developing individual and collaborative research. You will be expected to: deliver high-quality, impactful research, develop PhD research supervision, innovate in building research collaborations, and help to grow research funding success in History. You will bring an outstanding track record of publications. You will also be expected to demonstrate a commitment to delivering innovative and imaginative, high-quality teaching via a range of research-informed undergraduate and taught postgraduate modules in History and combined honours degree programmes.
