MARITIME ARCHAEOLOGIST – FREDERICK, MARYLAND
R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. has an opening for a Maritime Archaeologist in our Frederick, Maryland office. This full-time, permanent position requires a Master’s degree in nautical archaeology or closely related field. A Bachelor’s degree in geology is highly desirable. The candidate should possess knowledge of scientific methods and techniques used in underwater archaeological research. Experience in surveying, processing and analyzing geophysical and geotechnical data, including seismic data, also is required, as are technical report writing skills.
