Prof. JCM Warnsinck Fellowship
The Prof. JCM Warnsinck Fellowship provides a one-time stipend of up to €5,000, including travel expenses, for maritime historical research based on objects in the collection of the National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam. This year, for the first time, it is possible to apply for the Prof. JCM Warnsinck Fellowship, which focuses specifically on Zeeland’s maritime history, archaeology, and culture. The starting point for this is both the collection of the National Maritime Museum and the collection of the Maritime Muzeeum Zeeland in Vlissingen. The amount can be awarded exclusively to you personally. The fellowship is open to Master’s students who have graduated (or will graduate shortly or recently). The duration of the fellowship is a maximum of six months; the earliest start date is March 1, 2027. In consultation, it is also possible to start the fellowship later, up to June 1, 2027 at the latest. The closing date for applications is December 16, 2026 .
