You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the UNDERWATER ARCHAEOLOGY BRANCH OF THE COLLECTION MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND.
- You will develop and implement program policies, protocols, and timelines associated with the Sunken Military Craft Act Permitting and Enforcement program to ensure program soundness, coordinating and tasking SME reviews as appropriate.
- You will collaborate and coordinate with Division and Branch leadership, as well as senior subject matter experts, to brief and keep informed of issues involving sunken military craft management, policy and research.
- You will provide input and coordination in formulating and recommending general command policies and procedures to accomplish results required by higher authority, as well as cultivate external partnerships.
- You will be responsible for supporting the management of daily operations of the Underwater Archaeology Branch, to include meeting office, laboratory, curation space, field equipment locker, and dive locker requirements.
