Deepwater is partnering with Ocean First Key Largo to offer an AAUS Scientific Diver Course in the Florida Keys!
The only prerequisite for the course is a current open water certification from a nationally recognized agency. Divers must also hold a current cpr/first aid/aed/o2 administrator for diving certification by the end of the course.
This intensive week will cover dive physics and physiology, diver rescue, current data collection techniques, current coral restoration techniques, and dive planning in accordance to AAUS standards. Upon completion, divers will receive an AAUS Scientific Diver certification which is required for participation in most State, Federal, and University marine science programs.
