The Nantucket Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum seeks to fill a collections associate/interpreter position for the 2022 season, late May through early September. As the oldest museum in America dedicated to honoring lifesavers, we offer an opportunity to work at one of the island’s most scenic sites with an enthusiastic staff dedicated to telling the stories of Nantucket’s heroes. We offer competitive hourly wages, and housing is available for suitable candidates who can make a full-time commitment during the summer season. We will hire a full-time person who, under the supervision of a museum professional, will be called upon to inventory, assign catalog numbers, scan old photographs, and upload the digital images into the museum’s database.
