R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. (RCG&A) has an opening for a Nautical Archaeologist/Geoarchaeoloigst in our Frederick, Maryland office. This full-time, permanent position requires a master’s degree in maritime/nautical archaeology or closely related field. The candidate should possess knowledge of geological sequences in the Northeastern United States, scientific methods, and techniques used in underwater archaeological research. Experience in geophysical/geotechnical data processing and analyses is required, as well as skill in technical writing. Scientific diver and AAUS safety training is available to qualified candidates free of cost. Experience conducting or supporting remote sensing surveys is ideal.

This is a full-time, salaried, professional position with full benefits package (paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave; health, dental, and life insurance; and a liberal 401(k) plan). Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with educational and professional experience.
