Under the overall authority of the Director of UNESCO Regional Bureau in Cairo and the direct supervision of the Programme Specialist at the Culture Unit, the Individual Consultant will prepare a working paper on the education and training programmes on the UCH management in the Arab Region. The working paper will inform the development of a regional capacity building programme in this area.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in maritime archaeology, heritage management, and education.

Minimum 10 year-experience in education and training related to maritime archaeology and Underwater Cultural Heritage management

Excellent research and writing skills in English.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in preparing reports preferably on maritime archaeology, Underwater Cultural Heritage management, and heritage education.
