Objects Conservator

Past Matters, LLC is seeking a part-time objects conservator who will work under the direction of a senior-level conservator. Candidates applying for this position should have a degree in conservation or be able to provide documentation of equivalent experience, and at least three years of experience in collections care and management, including knowledge of policies, practices, and plans for managing museum collections. Responsibilities include general research; testing and analysis; assessment, documentation, and treatment of objects, outdoor art, and architectural features; and report writing. An ability to work independently and a willingness to travel are essential.
