NOAA Supervisory Historian

As a Supervisory Historian, you will perform the following duties:

Oversee and direct the planning, execution and evaluation of policies and programs for maritime heritage and cultural resource research.
Lead national and international maritime heritage partnerships with university, state, local and other federal agencies to develop policies and regulations for the protection and management of maritime heritage resources.
Track program progress, establish short and long-range goals and objectives and develop program budget plans and manpower requirements.
Supervise, manage, conduct and support diving operations, training, field missions, and management of divers and dive teams to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and mission success.
