As a Supervisory Historian, you will perform the following duties:
- Oversee and direct the planning, execution and evaluation of policies and programs for maritime heritage and cultural resource research.
- Lead national and international maritime heritage partnerships with university, state, local and other federal agencies to develop policies and regulations for the protection and management of maritime heritage resources.
- Track program progress, establish short and long-range goals and objectives and develop program budget plans and manpower requirements.
- Supervise, manage, conduct and support diving operations, training, field missions, and management of divers and dive teams to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and mission success.
