Based at Blaydes House, a Georgian merchant’s house in Hull’s Old Town, you will be responsible for undertaking research and publication in the field of maritime history, as well as supporting efforts to generate research income, administering the Centre’s specialist maritime history library, and contributing to the realisation of the engagement/impact potential of Blaydes Maritime Centre.
A PhD in History (or similar) and experience of archival research and scholarly publication in maritime history are essential requirements.
