Opportunity to join a terrestrial/submerged archaeology field school at Wakulla Springs, Florida — a unique landscape with human history dating over 12,000 years! The field school begins with terrestrial excavations investigating late Pleistocene to early Holocene human activities, and continues to submerged locations in the area. Students will be exposed to terrestrial and underwater excavation techniques, remote sensing, and geophysical techniques! Students do not need to be divers to participate, but in order to join dive operations the student must prove they have scientific a dive certification (preferably AAUS).
