The Maryland Historical Trust is seeking candidates for its 2018 Summer Internship in Archeology. Interns serve a maximum of 400 hours over a period of 10 consecutive weeks to begin on or about May 21, 2018. Current graduate students in anthropology/archeology are preferred; students currently enrolled in or who have recently graduated from an accredited undergraduate program in anthropology/archeology or other closely related field are encouraged to apply.
The intern will work under the general supervision of the Chief Archeologist and time will be divided between office/laboratory and field work in support of the Trust’s terrestrial and maritime archeology programs.
Interns will receive a total amount not to exceed $5000.00 paid in bi-weekly increments based on the number of hours worked at a rate of $12.50 per hour.
Successful completion of an archeological field school or equivalent and familiarity with ArcGIS are required.
