Wessex Archaeology are seeking Project Managers to join our successful Coastal & Marine team in Salisbury on a permanent basis, delivering a comprehensive range of consulting and contracting services to marine development and curatorial clients. You will report to the Director, Coastal & Marine.
An experienced heritage/marine professional, you will be educated to degree level in an appropriate subject and ideally a post graduate qualification in maritime archaeology. You should have project management level experience in a professional commercial marine archaeological or related environment and preferably experience in preparing content for bids and tenders, input into marine environmental impact assessments and desk-based assessment. The role would suit an experienced Senior Project Officer wishing to further their career.
A full UK Driving Licence is essential. Membership of the Institute for Archaeologists (MIfA) and/or other appropriate professional body is desirable. An appropriate diving qualification to CMAS 3* or equivalent would be an advantage. Experience of using the Microsoft office suite of software and GIS would be advantageous.
