We are currently recruiting for a Maritime Heritage Consultant to join EMUs Consultancy Team with immediate effect. The position is based at EMUs Durley office, Southampton, but other locations may be considered.
The position is initially offered on a temporary project‐specific basis with the possible extension to a full time contract for the right candidate. The candidate will work within a skilled team of consultants, scientists and archaeologists and will be responsible for delivering a wide range of heritage projects, from desk‐based assessments through to environmental impact assessments. The candidate will have a sound knowledge of British maritime heritage, be degree qualified in a heritage or environmental related subject, and have a good working knowledge of current and emerging UK heritage policy and guidance.
