The Rhode Island Marine Archaeology Project (RIMAP), a not-for-profit corporation based out of Newport, Rhode Island, USA, is offering two 1-day underwater archaeology-related workshops in October 2011:
*Saturday, October 15 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)–INTRODUCTION TO UNDERWATER ARCHAEOLOGY (Instructors: Dr. D.K. Abbass, Dr. Kerry Lynch, and Charlotte Taylor). Location–Newport, Rhode Island, USA.
*Saturday, October 29 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)–INTRODUCTION TO DOCUMENTARY PRODUCTION FOR HISTORIANS, ARCHAEOLOGISTS, AND INTERESTED OTHERS (Instructor: Joseph W. Zarzynski). Location–Bristol, Rhode Island, USA.
