Post Doc in Maritime Policy

The United States Coast Guard Academy invites applications for a full-time, post-doctoral visiting lecturer/researcher within the Department of Humanities, supporting the Academy’s new Center for Maritime Policy and Strategy Studies, for academic year 2010-2011.

The successful candidate will develop and teach upper-division electives in the areas of maritime policy and strategy and/or ocean policy. The electives may be focused on maritime policy, strategy, ocean policy, governance, or law, or may be interdisciplinary. He/she may also teach existing courses, such as U.S. Maritime History and Policy and/or International Law.
