Honolulu, Hawai`i

Co-sponsored by the Marine Option Program, University of Hawai`i at Manoa, NOAA Office of National Marine Sanctuaries and the Maritime Archaeology and History of the Hawaiian Islands (MAHHI) Foundation

Conference Theme:
*Evolving Cultural Landscapes in the Maritime World*

Paper topics are not limited to this theme but special consideration will be given to abstracts that incorporate this message.  Special topics
include:

•   Indigenous and maritime cultural landscapes

•   African Americans in maritime history

•   2012 maritime archaeology projects

•   Maritime heritage in the Pacific general session

ABSTRACTS should be no more than 300 words and include a title, name(s) of presenters and affiliation. All presenters will be expected to register for the conference.

Deadline for Abstracts is December 1, 2012
