Ship to Shore Program: Educator Specialist: Seasonal, Full-Time position, weekdays and weeknights during Spring 2012 sessions of Ship to Shore, the School Overnight Program at Mystic Seaport. Duties include preparing/leading experiential education in maritime history for 4th- 9th graders, conduct study tours, workshops, climb rigging and spend nights aboard ship as overnight staff. Requirements include education and/or program experience, polished presentation skills and knowledge of American history. Background check required. Position is temporary for February-May 2012, but may lead to year-round full-time work.
