The incumbent serves as an archaeologist and is responsible for preparing, implementing, and leading underwater archaeological investigation activities in accordance with the standard operating procedures of the JPAC-CIL.
Supervises military dive teams engaged in the Phase I Survey and Phase II Testing and Evaluation of submerged aircraft crash sites, shipwrecks, and other underwater contexts believed to be associated with unaccounted-for Americans.
