1) Classical Marine Archaeologist: BUCKNELL UNIVERSITY – LEWISBURG, PA

The Department of Classics invites applications for an entry level (no more than four years of full time teaching experience post Ph.D.) one-year temporary position at the rank of visiting assistant professor beginning August 2009. The department seeks a classical archaeologist to teach courses in material culture and classical civilization. Possible offerings include: the Archaeology of Egypt, Ancient Technology, the Age of Alexander, Classical Myth, Ancient Cities, and courses in the applicant’s area of expertise.
